Finding beauty in shadows and concrete blocks.....
My eyes are on the constant lookout for some marvelous play of shadows, lines, patterns around me. I can't help it. I only wish I had my camera with me every time I find them!
We have trained ourselves to spend our days in a hurry:
I say, let's pledge to think like we did when we were kids, when walking down the street took hours rather than seconds (with all the wonderful adventures along the way). Let's notice beauty in the most unusual places !
We have trained ourselves to spend our days in a hurry:
- checking off items off our to-do lists
- rushing to the next appointment, and
- always having too much to do.
That's why we hardly ever notice all these wonderful things our eyes were supposed to see : )
My friends have been quite surprised that I was so impressed with the architecture of the below shopping center in Europe. But I found it stunning and, if allowed, would have spent hours looking at (and photographig) the play of shadows on the walls and floors of that place. How amazing!
