Celebrating Milestones


My grandmother is now 87!

It seems that is has only been yesterday when I saw her blow her 85 candles.

She has not aged a bit since then, which does not necessarily hold true for me ; )

What a stunning, elegant lady!

Memories of Pisa

Today, as temperatures are nowhere close to where they typically would be at this time of the year, this photo from Pisa, Italy, reminds me that I don't mind 20 degrees in the summer. It was HOT that day in Pisa and I survived that heat only because I was mesmerized by all the historical beauty around me. I don't miss the heat , but I miss that magical place in beautiful Italy....
